Legal / browser storage
Cookie Policy
ROCSI is launching the new website with a privacy-minimal posture: no client-side visitor analytics, advertising pixels or behavioural marketing trackers are intentionally enabled.

1. First-party browser storage
- Theme preference: the light/dark selection is stored in localStorage under the key rocsi-theme so the site can preserve your display choice.
- Workshop checkout recovery: immediately before redirecting to Stripe Checkout, the registration form can store the participant draft in tab-scoped sessionStorage so a cancelled checkout can be recovered without putting personal data in the URL.
2. Security technology
Public submission flows can load Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate users from automated abuse. Cloudflare may use technical signals, cookies or similar mechanisms that are necessary for that security service.
3. Services you choose to use
When you interact with the Cal.com scheduling experience or continue to Stripe-hosted Checkout, those third-party services may set their own essential or functional cookies/storage and receive the information needed for the interaction. Their policies govern their own technology.
4. Analytics and advertising
The launch configuration does not intentionally enable a client-side analytics or advertising adapter. ROCSI's internal analytics event dispatcher fails closed unless an adapter and the required consent mechanism are explicitly configured.
If ROCSI later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or comparable tracking, this policy and the applicable consent controls must be updated before that technology is enabled.
5. Managing storage
You can clear cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage through your browser settings. Clearing functional storage may reset your theme choice or prevent recovery of an in-progress workshop checkout.
